About the Business
I was awarded a Diploma in Garden Design at Capel Manor, Regents Park. I grew up in Southern California and spent many years in Italy so my aesthetic is informed by a warm climate, an outdoor culture, and an obsession with beautiful things.
I have come to garden design well equipped with diverse skills and professional experience. My first love was for language and literature.
My ties to Italy led me to undertake what seemed at the time sheer folly: the restoration of a large and completely derelict Italian farmhouse in Umbria while juggling the challenges of raising children and working in London. When the builders had gone I was horrified to see the site looked like a lunar landscape with not a tuft of greenery in sight. The challenge of bringing life back to that country garden galvanized me to embark upon a lifelong journey of learning about gardens and landscapes and creating them.
