Bea Ray Garden Design

Bea Ray is a fully trained Garden Designer, with a professional Diploma in Garden Design from Oxford College of Garden Design. This qualification covers everything from Design Theory to drainage, from pergola to swimming pool construction. This in turn led to her gaining a place on the intensive and highly regarded Professional Diploma course at Oxford. Combining her passion for art and design with a love for plants, she creates imaginative, innovative gardens. She uses an exciting variety of plants and landscaping materials to find a design solution for plots of all shapes and sizes. Her work takes inspiration from the contemporary use of grasses and perennials by Garden Designers such as Piet Oudolf, James van Sweden and Wolfgang Oehme. She admires the contrast between structural and soft planting in gardens by Dan Pearson and Arne Maynard, and enjoys following the work of leading garden designers on the international stage eg Ron Lutsko, Ulf Nordfell and Dominique Lafourcade.
