About the Business
Crown has been a small family run business for over 35years, based at Eastfield Farm Driffield. It is owned and managed by Peter Moore and is one of the leading turf suppliers and installers in Yorkshire and Lincolnshire. Peter initially trained at Bishop Burton College gaining an ONC in agriculture, which has given him a good grounding in all aspects of plant and soil husbandry. Subsequently he has completed further training, attending a three year HND course, specialising in garden design and construction.
The business has invested in a variety of specialised "Seed bed" preparation machinery this enables us to cater for all sizes of jobs; from domestic gardens, to larger commercial projects such as, football pitches, caravan parks, housing estates and larger grass seeded areas. It ensures a top class surface for laying or seeding, which is the most important part of the process, as it makes sure the finished area is firm and level.
