About the Business

With an extensive background in studio art, art history, and horticulture, I bring a genuinely unique perspective to garden design. It is, I believe, an intellectual, as well as an aesthetic discipline.

Over the past 16 years I have worked in both the domestic and public areas. My work for the Health Service's Enhancing the Healing Environment program has gained national recognition, for work of a highly-finished domestic quality within an institutional setting, at half the price of other gardens in the scheme.

I am adept at modern styles, and contemporary planting trends, but with my historian's background I excel at period styles, and at hybrid styles incorporating both period and modern elements.
