Paul Beecroft studied horticulture at the Royal Horticultural Society's Harlow Carr Gardens. Coming from a construction background he was quite able to combine the two trades to form Paul BeecroftLandscapes, which due to the success of the business over the following years transformed into Harrogate Landscapes Ltd in 1995. We now take on larger contracts in the Yorkshire area, working for local building companies and local authorities, such as Yorkshire Water and Harrogate Borough Council.

The company was established in 1996 by Gareth Clarke, the Managing Director. Prior to forming the company Gareth had completed his studies at the Lancashire College of Agriculture & Horticulturebefore gaining experience as a groundsman at Cardiff Arms Park. He also spent periods working in the wholesale nursery trade and passed on some of his knowledge lecturing Amenity Horticulture and Countryside Skills at a local college.
